In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji tells us that for a mature knower, there is no conflict between absorptional and interactive states. The two states are harmonious and complimentary to each other.
For any seeker, the nishta is always only one. At the initial phase, it is always coupled with Karma. But as the mind becomes more and more pure and sublime, it attains the state of Naishkarmya, where the activities will automatically fall. It is brought about by a lofty level of maturity gained by the mind.
Swamiji makes it very clear that none can remain inactive even for a moment. The three gunas of nature will compel everyone to act. So, not taking up activity or abandoning one's activity in the name of spirituality, is not harmonious with nature. One will not succeed in attaining the supreme goal, by such forceful restraint of activity!
