In this satsang, Ma continues to discuss the message of Yogi Prabuddha to King Nimi where he speaks about disciplines that will lead a seeker to liberation.
A seeker must have complete faith and dedication for Srimad Bhagavatam but he must not look down upon other texts or philosophies. His mind should be withdrawn from worldly thoughts and directed towards the thoughts of God/Brahman. He must have an attitude of a ‘Witness’ towards the thoughts rising in the mind--simply notice the thoughts arise and subside, without getting involved in them.
A Sadhaka must pay special attention to regulation of speech. He must speak only after careful consideration, speak only when necessary and must refrain from the use of hurting words. A seeker must do all activities being free of delusional clinging (Sanga), likes & dislikes and without clinging to the expectation of a particular result. Through contemplation, he/she must see where desires and clinging are hidden in the mind and remove them. This will lead to the expansion and purification of the mind.
Ma exhorts all Sadhakas to constantly keep watch on the mind, be watchful of their speech and be vigilant about their own attitude to work. A seeker must guide the mind away from worldly varieties and turn it towards the Lord. Listening to his glories, singing about his holy deeds, one must dedicate all his/her activities to the Lord.
