Swamiji begins the Satsang by outlining the sadhana of a seeker of Truth. On the one hand, one must apply the Bhagavad Gita teachings in life, by completely analyzing one’s own personality. This Sadhana will make the concept of the Ultimate Truth clear and perfect. Parallely, the seeker must read the Upanishads and understand and imbibe the Rishi’s mindset, which is expansive, sky-like.

Kaivalya Upanishad verses portray the gradual growth and expansion of a seeker of Truth. The seeker finally understands that everything in the universe is a manifestation of Brahman and he Realizes that he himself is Brahman alone. When he has this realization, he becomes free of all bondage.

When the seeker realizes his own real identity, having transcended the Subject-object division, he declares: I am the non-dual Consciousness, the Ultimate Auspiciousness. Everything is born from me; Everything is sustained in me and also dissolves in me, the consciousness. I am the Purusha, which is always present, changeless; I am the controller, the brilliance, the Revealer; I do not have hands or feet to do any work, but I have unimaginable energy and power.

He further states: Remaining as different forms, I come to know everything. No one can know me (one can know the Consciousness only as the ‘I’ in oneself. It cannot be known as something different from oneself). There is no birth or destruction for me; I am beyond virtue and vice; I transcend existence and non-existence; I am the witness of everything.
