Through this Satsang, Swamiji provides deep insights and great clarity to listeners on a wide range of subjects. What is the Mind? How to find solutions for all problems in life? How to find oneness in everything? What is the purpose of the cycle of life and death? If God is perfect, why did he create this imperfect world? When was the first human born? What should be the important thing to teach a child? —These are some of the questions to which Swamiji gave concise and clear answers in this session.

The human body is made up of matter and is inert. The body is animated by the inner, subtle presence. This inner Presence functions as the mind, functions as the intelligence and functions as the ego. When the Consciousness does mentation, it is called the mind; when it does intellection, it is called intellect; when it does assertion, it is called ego. The mind, intelligence and ego are expressions of the same inner Presence. They are merely functional notes of the Consciousness.

There is oneness in everything in life. The body makes us feel we are one with the world—we breathe the same air. Every human has mind, intelligence, ego and senses. Going one step further, a seeker must understand that the ‘I’, which is beyond the mind, intelligence and ego, is Oneness alone. When we go to the ‘I’ level, we are all one. But we do not see the oneness because we are surrounded by plurality. But only when there is plurality, the intelligence can develop discrimination and grow. Growth becomes final when all distinctions vanish and one attains liberation.

Life is experiential and interactional. All experiences are subjective, arising from the mind. All problems arise from the mind and the solution lies in the intelligence. Swamiji assures the listeners that whatever the problems, whatever the doubts and questions in the mind, the solution can be found by an introspective intelligence. Spiritual knowledge is the panacea for all the suffering in the world.
