In this Satsang, Swamiji emphasizes that a human being must realize his/her own inner potential. The growth of the mind and intelligence must continue unabated throughout one’s life. The sole focus of man must be the mind and the intelligence.

Arjuna, the illustrious warrior, was assailed by delusion, grief, fear and doubt in the battlefield of Kurukshetra. Sri Krishna activated and enlightened the intelligence of Arjuna, through his Bhagavad Gita message. He began by exposing the real identity of man. The body was born and it will also die. But the true identity of man (the Soul) is eternal, ever-present. The ‘I’ was never born and it will never die.

The body undergoes transformations in life--childhood, youth and old age-- and the ultimate transformation is death. A wise man never grieves over the death of the body, he does not become
deluded.

Analyzing the personality of man, Sri Krishna says that contact between senses and their objects produce Sukha-duhkha (happiness and misery). They are inevitable, they come and go. One must
forbear them. Whoever is unshaken by Sukha-duhkhas, which are the only resultants of all interactions, whoever is equal in Sukha-duhkhas, such a man is fit for liberation. Those who have
achieved this equalness (samatva) have won over the entire worldliness. This is the key to transcending success and failure.

Senses are superior to the objects of the world; Mind is superior to the senses; Intelligence is still superior to the mind and superior to the intelligence is the ‘I’, the Soul. Swamiji urges the listeners to understand that they carry such a great, indescribable spiritual abundance within. He exhorts everyone to understand their own inner personality and harness it.
