In this satsang, Poojya Swamiji explains that any seeker has to progressively grow from the Atma stithi, (remaining absorbed in Self) to Brahmi stithi, where everything appears as the same omnipresent spirit. This will happen provided the senses are more and more moderated and refined, mind evenised in its vision and intelligence always illumined; therein lies the real growth of a seeker.

To translate this into living experience, Swamiji says we must have some qualities. One of them is dispassion. Dispassion towards what? Towards everything that is fleeting. Everything in this world, everything we think of possessing, is associated with fear. Dispassion alone bestows fearlessness.

The delights born of contact with objects are verily the womb of misery. Every enjoyment corrodes our senses. Moreover, they have a beginning and an end. So, a wise man must never indulge in them.

Swamiji says, that person is the most happy and contented human who before the fall of the body becomes able to forbear the urges engendered by desire and hatred. He is the Spiritually integrated person.

These urges are born of the mind and they are immensely powerful and strong. But for the one spiritually integrated, all thoughts, emotions, urges will always remain integrated with the source and hence will not be afraid of any desire, hatred or any other note. Mind's power lies in not just generating the thoughts, but also in dissolving the thought process itself. Our mind has immense potential to forbear and dissolve anything.
