Through the verses of Bhagavad Gita, Ma speaks about how a seeker can become Nitya Yukta—ever connected to God/Self amidst all activities. In the Bhagavad Gita, Sri Krishna says that those who worship the Lord with a note of constant identity are the best of Yogis.

Are we connected and united with God? No, we are united with the world. Our mind is disturbed by many thoughts. Bhagavad Gita says that man takes to unbridled thoughts and indulges in gratifying endless desires. Being in the clutch of delusion he becomes proud and arrogant and is entangled in the chain of desires and expectations. He becomes egoistic thinking that he is powerful, successful, and happy.

How to become Nitya Yukta? The aim must be to remain connected with God throughout the day. How to know the Lord and develop love for Him? Bhagavad Gita says that the Lord is the source from which the entire creation has emerged. This Lord resides in the heart of all beings. A seeker must make a practice and discipline of thinking about this all-pervading Lord. This truth must become stable and established in his intelligence.

Replying to questions, Ma says that a seeker must develop love for the spiritual path. He must make it a joyful, natural practice. There must be a constant remembrance in the mind that the entire creation belongs to the Lord. The seeker must cultivate qualities like unaffectedness, equalness, fearlessness etc., which are the qualities of the Self/the Supreme Lord.
