Ma begins this Satsang by recapitulating the salient points of the past few Satsangs. She emphasizes that spiritual pursuit must be a wholesome, all-time pursuit. One must fill every moment of the day with divinity. The goal is to acquire the wisdom by virtue of which the seeker will be able to remain constantly in communion with the Self. One must experience divinity in everything and feel the oneness underlying the plurality.

Ma discusses and elaborates on the Prabhata Rashmih chapter- “Detachment-the only way to live well”. Is wholesome Vairagya possible for householders? Vairagya does not mean leaving the house and possessions. It is being free of all attachment and possessiveness. Understanding the ephemerality of the world, one must cultivate indifference to worldly things.

Bhagavad Gita says: “You are the Soul. You have no birth or death.” The Soul is eternal, unaffected, unshakeable. So, what must be the attitude to life? It must be taken with a measure of indifference. Nothing must be given undue importance, which can be agitating or disturbing.

All scriptures give the message of invincibility of the Soul. Our body may not be invincible, but our mind is, and more importantly the Soul is invincible. When the understanding gains strength, we also start feeling that we are invincible. There may be many situations in life. The seeker must understand that if the mind can create an emotion or agitation, it can also live through and outlive it. The mind can assimilate any situation. All adversities are designed by nature to enrich and sublimate the spiritual practitioner.
