This a talk by Swamini Ma Gurupriya ji at the “Global Bhagavad Gita Convention—2022” held from 19th to 21st of February.
Bhagavad Gita gives a solution to all the problems, torments and tensions of our life. If we can realize and be stabilized in the Self, then no affectation will be there, assures Ma. This Self-seatedness is the essence of Bhagavad Gita. The whole of Bhagavad Gita speaks about how to be unaffected, stable, universal and peaceful.
Ma lovingly exhorts the youth to remain equal towards happiness and misery. They should make it a regular pursuit in their own academic and professional pursuits. One should do all activities but with no attachment or expectation of any particular result. The mind has to become flexible and accept whatever result comes. In this, one may fail initially but slowly this equal vision will become assimilated in the system.
Ma emphasizes the need to understand the qualities mentioned in various chapters in Bhagavad Gita. By cultivating the qualities, one is able to have great clarity in the intelligence and strength of Mind. Self-Knowledge gives us the ability to deal with any situation without getting affected.
